This is regarding a flight simulator, where i want to employ a 2nd keyboard equally an input console, effectively doubling my assignable keys.

Is at that place some hack, 3rd part app or other manner to do this in Win7?

Thanks for any ideas or help.

Comes to listen , at that place are also mouse like devices with xx+ keys that you can program anyway y'all want on them.

I would consider this over a second keyboard, which simply sounds infinite consuming.

I found this.. (in case anyone asks the same in the future)

    HID macros

    Key features

    • manage multiple keyboards/mouses continued to i PC
    • different central on different keyboard has assigned it's own command
    • mouse buttons on dissimilar mouses tin can be likewise used as macro trigeer - including mouse wheel
    • when a central activates macro, it'due south ain beahvior (e.g. sending letter of the alphabet lawmaking to windows) is deactivated
    • macro tin send another keyboard keys, launch application or send command to FSX via SimConnect
    • when no macro is assigned, keyboard/mouse works as usual

    Limitations
    freeware - no warranty
works only under XP or Vista

Need to test it in win7.. but if information technology works in Vista i suspect information technology volition work in 7. (UAC is always off for me)
